My name is Lea Fairbanks, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) providing online therapy throughout Washington State. For the past ten years, I have worked with adults navigating:
Developmental and complex trauma
Grief and loss
Perfectionism and self-criticism
Interpersonal and relationship patterns
Life transitions and personal growth
My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and emotion-focused approaches, I help clients develop greater self-understanding, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful, lasting change.
The name Pacific Peak Counseling reflects my roots in the Pacific Northwest and the values that guide my work.
Mountains embody both challenge and possibility. Climbing them requires courage, patience, persistence, and support—much like the process of therapy. While the journey can feel daunting at times, meaningful growth often emerges through taking one step at a time, even when the path ahead is unclear.
I believe that healing is not about reaching a perfect destination. It is about developing the strength, understanding, and confidence to navigate life's terrain with greater ease and authenticity.
I believe curiosity is one of the most powerful tools in therapy. Together, we can explore your experiences, patterns, and emotions with compassion and openness, creating space for deeper understanding and meaningful change.
I view you as the expert in your own life and I believe you already possess the capacity for healing and growth. Therapy is a collaborative process of reconnecting with that inner wisdom and building on the strengths you already have.
My goal is to create a space where you feel:
Safe and supported
Seen and understood
Challenged with compassion
Empowered to grow at your own pace
I strive to balance affirmation with accountability, helping you navigate difficult experiences while supporting meaningful and lasting change.
Above all, I believe every person deserves healing, acceptance, and belonging. I welcome individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences and consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey.
